Okay...totally said I was going to do this every month with her and I have waited almost a year! YIKES!! I am not that organized, but some is better than none so here we go............
* We just moved a month ago and she still calls it "the new house" and when we turn into our old neighborhood she starts crying saying "I don't wanna go home! I wanna go to the new house!!"
* She starts preschool Sept 6(our wedding anniv of nine years :)) and she seems excited when we talk about it. She has a school supply list so that makes me super excited. I know she is going to LOVE it!!
* We got her a booster seat a couple of weeks ago and her own placemat so she sits at the table with us and eats now. And refuses all help!! lol She has to feed herself so we just strip her down and she gets her bath right after dinner :)
* She sings ALL the time....Momma Hetty taught her "How Great Thou Art" so sweet and she raises her arms dramatically when she sings the chorus. She is starting to pick faves from the radio. She loves the Katy Perry song "Kiss Me" she sings k-k-k-kiss me and even sings extraterrestrial!! and she loves the Adele song "Rolling in the Deep" everytime right before the chorus she says "here it comes" then belts it out!! still sings "Jesus loves me" and I taught her "Jesus loves the little children" and "happy birthday" and if you are happy and ya know it"
* She is So independent...loves going to visit people and she just recently spent the night with Aunt Shonda a few weeks ago. She could care less that we aren't there!! I am so glad she feels confident enough to stay with all different people in the family. And she LoVes going to Mahgweets(Marguerite) and Mike to see Zoie Renee( thats what she calls her!)
*When we are about to walk out of the door in the mornings she says "Lets go chick" lol
* Loves "Uncle Jason" and asks about him all the time! She calls Nikki "Nik Nik"
* Her bed time routine is bath, vitamin, brush teeth, read a book, and say prayers. She says the whole "Now I lay me down to sleep" prayer and then says God bless everybody in the whole world I love you, Jesus. Amen. I also have been trying to pray in front of her random parts of the day so she will have more of an idea of what prayer really is and she LOves it. She folds her little hands and repeats everything I say and when I'm done she always says "Good job, Mommy" so cute!
* Still takes an afternoon nap if we are home for two hours around 12-1 to 2-3.
* She loves going to birthday parties!! She gets sooo excited and practices singing happy birthday to them!
* Her fave shows are Caillou, Sesame Street, Berenstein Bears
* Her fave movies are Bambi(first and foremost!), Beauty and the Beast, Charlotte's Webb, Cinderella(2nd fave) and she still likes watching baby Einsteins!
* She loves her back scratched and she'll say "Scratch your back, mommy" meaning scratch her back! She also loves to cuddle and she'll say "Let me hold you, mommy/daddy" meaning for you to hold her.
*Still loves trains and she always asks me where they went after they are gone. One time I told her that they had to make a delivery. so now she says "they had to make ivery"
* Still not potty trained. The days that I have cracked down on her have been the worst days ever! So.....we'll see. Its very frustrating bc I know she can she just won't and she'll tell you "noo, I wanna poo poo in the diaper" Hopefully mothers day out will help with that when she sees other kids doing it!
* Always asking about everyone in the fam.. and I mean literally everybody!!
* She tells everyone(including cashiers at Kroger) that she has a new room and playroom. She'll say "Did you get a new room? Oh, its so cute!!"
* Still sooo busy won't even sit still to watch anything. I mean she will be watching it but she is constantly moving. And she is constantly into everything and has a very strong and stubborn will!!!Hates being told no
* After work and after I pick her up on the way home she'll say "hold my hand, mommy. I missed you day" Meaning I missed you today...so sweet. Melts my heart.
* She fake laughs as she puts her hand to her mouth
* She calls band aids stickers
* She knows the bank always gives her a sucker so no more hiding that! And also asks for a sucker when we check out at the grocery store!!
* Kid can eat. I have never seen another kid eat so much! Good thing she eats very healthy! She also likes pretty much everything. loves salads, broc, and all vegetables and fruit. prefers carbs like her mommy!
* She always randomly tells me "You're so beautiful, mommy" or "mommy, You're so cute" and she'll say "I love you soo much mommy. You're my angel" It is the sweetest thing ever!!
* Loves Loves being outside. We love our new big backyard.
* She also says randomly about something she likes "oh how wonderful!" Its hilarious!
* She can navigate my iPhone with ease.
* Loves swimming and it is so much easier this year. Slap on some floaties and she is all over that pool!
* Total daddy's girl!!
* Found out yest that she knows how to turn on the tv and put a dvd in by herself!
* Enjoys coloring and playing play dough.
* She calls church JJ bc one of the little girls in her class is AJ, her parents are also in our class!
