One Year

So, Taylor had her 12 month check-up today! It's official...she is a toddler!! She is still in the 90th percentile in height and weighs 19 pounds. She will have milk for the first time tomorrow! And she had her formula tonight from a sippy cup!! She is changing from "my baby" to "my little girl"! I am sad about this bottle business!!! I feel like it means she is officially no longer a baby! No fair. Even though, she smiled really big when we gave her the sippy cup instead of her "baba" and did not miss a beat taking it down.


After our doctor visit we went shopping for a bit. I had to make several stops and she went all day without a nap! She fell asleep for like 10 minutes and we had stopped somewhere so I had to wake her up and carry her in and she was just smiling at people...in the best mood! I realize how lucky I am. When we got home I couldn't wait to pull her around the block in her new wagon Pops bought her for her bday! It was so pretty outside! So, we went to visit her friend, Zoie( my friend's daughter who is 5 weeks...they live down the street).

I had some realizations today. I feel like it is so much easier out and about with her. Not as big of a deal as it used to be. I don't know if it is because she is older or I am just completely used to it. Also, I have loved this last year. And I loved and enjoyed her as a baby-baby. BUT I am really really loving this age. She is SO much fun. I love it. I adore her. Her little personality is really starting to shine through. And I love her little smile now that she has a few teeth that you can really see. I am blessed.

My First Blog!

Okay, so I have been wanting to do this for such a long time! I So wish I would have started when I was pregnant. Life is so busy and I want to have tons of memories to share! I am horrible at remembering things so hopefully this will serve as a fun way to"journal" our life. My little "darling angel"(as my Memal would say!) is about to have her first birthday. So, I thought I better at least start now because life is only going to get busier!! Wish me luck!
